About the Band
The Texas Trio has been together since 1999, playing and singing country and western music. Instrumentation includes mainly fiddle, bass and guitar, although they frequently use other instruments, such as a lead guitar. On occasions where they need a larger group, they can also add steel guitar, keyboard, drums, and other instruments as needed. They can also play without amplifiers, allowing them to stroll as a trio among their guests. All three members are multi-talented, in that they each play several different instruments. They play all kinds of music, from fiddle instrumentals to western trio to country and some pop music, and all dress alike in traditional Texas cowboy hats and boots. Known throughout the country, all three members have been inducted into one or more Western Swing Halls of Fame. This small group of musicians can add a lot of class and entertainment to any private party, all at a very affordable rate.
